Dr. Barnard provides the following dermatologic services:

Complete baseline skin examinations for moles, melanoma and other skin cancers.
Evaluation and treatment for all skin disorders using the most current diagnostic and therapeutic modalities available, including optical (non-invasive) biopsy Skin cancer surgery including Moh's microraphic surgery Laser and light-based treatment for facial blood vessels, sun damaged skin, hair removal, and photo rejuvenation. Botox and dysport injections. Resytlane, Perlane, Juvederm, Radiesse and other fillers.

He teaches dermatologic surgery in the residency program at Stanford where he was also trained. Dr. Barnard performs Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer and offers complete dermatological care for both pediatric and adult patients. chemical peels, preventative and corrective skin care, acne care, laser hair removal, laser treatment for facial veins, brown spots, and facial rejuvenation, laser tattoo removal, and skin tag removal.

She graduated with her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska and came to California on a National Health Service Corps Scholarship. Teresa has developed an expertise in Cosmetic Dermatology over the past seven years. She is also an injection trainer and speaker for Medicis Esthetics for the Central California region. Teresa believes in providing the utmost in quality care for her patients and also is a proponent for continuing education. She continues to maintain her board certification in Family Practice Medicine while also training with Dr. Barnard in the medical specialty of Dermatology.

Teresa lives in Salinas with her husband, Kelly, of the Salinas Police Department and her son Liam. She enjoys spending time with family attending her son's many sports events. Dr. Ken Hunter was born in San Diego, CA as the son of a Naval Officer. He grew up in Tidewater Virginia where he graduated from Princess Anne High School. After a brief Navy enlistment, Dr. Hunter graduated from Old Dominion University and Eastern Virginia Medical School, both located in Norfolk, VA. After a one year internship at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, VA, Dr. Hunter served five years as a US Naval Flight Surgeon with both the Marines and US Navy. He then completed a dermatology residency at Naval Hospital San Diego before being assigned to Naval Hospital Guam. Since leaving the Navy, Dr. Hunter has worked as a general dermatologist in the Virginia area.
